Bridge over Troubled Water is the
fifth and final studio album bySimon and Garfunkel. Firstreleased on January 26, 1970, itreached No. 1 on Billboard MusicCharts pop albums list. It won aGrammy Award for Album of the
Year, as well as for BestEngineered Recording, while itstitle track won the Grammy Awardfor Record of the Year and Song of the Year in the Grammy Awards of 1971.
