THE TOOL
– Solid carbide HPC ball-nose end mills specially designed for machining hardened materials
– Diameter range from 0.1 to 2.5 mm for Mini tool range
– Diameter range from 3 to 12 mm for standard dimensions
– L/D ratio of up to 10 x Dc
– Helix angle = 30° – Reinforced cutting edges – 2 cutting edges – Shank in accordance with DIN 6535 HA – With reduced neck (d3) for Mini tools – Optimised transitions from neck to shank to keep the tools as rigid as possible

THE APPLICATION
– For machining ISO material group H – For machining workpieces with a hardness of up to 70 HRC

1. Primary application: All steel materials at high cutting speeds and medium tooth feed rates. Strong even under unfavourable conditions, e.g. wet machining or high tensile strength material.
