Ask two spectators, a man and a woman, to come near you and explain to the audience you will try to prove the possibility, for each of us, to use our sleepy extra sensorial perceptions. Talk to the audience about the ZENER cards and their ability to transmit thoughts and about the meaning of the 5 symbols: CIRCLE = THE HUMAN BEING CROSS = THE CROSSROAD OR THE PAIN THE WAVES = THE SEE THE SQUARE = THE HOUSE THE STAR = THE SKY Show 5 esp cards from the red back, whose back has been numbered from 1 to 5 and ask the woman to choose casually a symbol, by indicating a number from 1 to 5, without knowing to which number each symbol belongs. This will help you to know her personality. Once she has chosen the number, take the correspondent card, put the rest apart and show her the symbol, which could be for example a star. Ask then the man to fix the star and to imagine all playing cards projected on it; let him name it, look it inside the deck and show it to the audience. So you can show it is the only card which is marked with a star, or, in any case, with the ESP symbol selected by the she spectator. NOTE 1): This effect can be used as a short understanding about the personality of the person who has selected the ESP symbol. – here you are a series of possible readings for each symbol: A) CIRCLE: The person who chooses the circle is altruist and open minded, he is keen on human relationships. He can realize himself through jobs in team and in touch with people. B) CROSS: This is a person who is open to news, his life is always at a crossroad, he is ready to risk at any cost, to choose new roads. He loves adventure and he is very strong, so he will be successful in life. C) WAVES: Who chooses the see is attracted by mystery, represented by water and lies beneath it. He loves sport, sun and adventure and he has got an open and joyful personality. He is keen on human relationships. D) SQUARE: He is linked to the house and to the security, he relies on material things, doesn’t love the adventure, but he concentrates to get the best results he wants. He plains everything, hates the improvisation. E) STAR: He is the classical romantic dreamer, who looks at the sky and escapes from reality. He loves a lot but sometimes he is not constant. He is able to engage himself in the social life, ready to sacrifice for the others. 1

REQUISITES : 1) An ESP deck to force one of the symbols ( the star ): it consists of 9 cards ( CIRCLE CROSS

When they are dry, write the numbers according to their order 1 2- 4 5.b) Pass some roughing fluid on the face of 4 STARS, then write the numbers 5 4 2- 1 on them.c) Dont touch the 5th STAR and write the number 3 on its back. d) Match the cards according to the following scheme: STAR 5 on CIRCLE 1STAR 4 on CROSS 2STAR 2 on WAVES 4STAR 1 on SQUARE 5

Add a STAR to this group, marked with a 3, so that you now have a series of 5 ESP cards, whoseback is numbered from 1 to 5. Keep them into a plastic bag and you will be ready to do thisextraordinary experiment.

    EXECUTION :

    1) Take the ESP deck, show them face up and explain, how indicated, the meaning of the symbols.Shuffle and show the numbers on their back, dont let the audience realizing thecorrespondence among numbers and symbols.

    2) Ask the woman, after your suggestions, to choose a number from 1 to 5, to identifyunconsciously one of the symbols. Two things can happen: a) the she spectator names the 3( this happens in the most cases )and this is the best solution, you can take out the real STARfrom the fan, spreading the other cards widely so to show all the other numbers, withoutunderlying them.b) The spectator names one of the other numbers, then takes out the card with the selectednumber divide the couple and close contemporary the others, putting them away.

    3) Whatever the solution is, turn this card face to the audience and show the selected symbol toeverybody, in the example is the Star.
