certified manufacturing plant is built with state of

the art compounding equipment, with superior

R&D laboratories, and utilizes automated

computerized equipment for our manufacturing

purposes. Throughout the past decade we have

modernized our facility and enhanced our overall

positioning in the plastics industry by investing in

exceptional customer service, and by building an

innovative delivery system. Consistency is

computer controlled and carefully monitored so

that every compound meets or exceeds the

specifications and tolerance requirements per our

customer’s request. Quality checks are conducted

during every run to ensure we are delivery high

quality compounds throughout North America.

Our R&D laboratory is first class! Roscom can conduct

tests on material to ensure their characteristics are

identical to our customers’ specific requirements. We

have the ability to test torque parameters with our

rheometer equipment, tensile strength using our tensile

equipment, and can test weatherability using our UV

chamber. We also provide moisture testing, abrasive

testing, and heat oven aging. When conducting smaller

production runs, Roscom utilizes its custom MD-30

extruder to guarantee the material can be ran on one of

the production lines.

While non-phthalate alternatives have been available for years,

they have been significantly more expensive than other

plasticizers. Due to increasing demand, suppliers have

developed technologies and systems that allow cost efficient

production of non-phthalates. Trends in environmental

regulations suggest that plasticizers such as DEHP, DOP, DINP

and DIDP will be banned by many states and the manufacturing

of these hazardous products will be regulated.

Toll Compounding Services

Roscom specializes in toll compounding a variety of

plastics, ranging from Specialty Rigids to Low

Durometer Flexible PVC, and CPVC. With the use of our

state of the art scaling system, we have the ability to

weigh raw materials when they are received, as

production creates masterbatches, and adjust on line

adjustments if needed during the run. The scaling data is

then sent to Roscom Enterprise where we track raw

amounts with our Processing Specifications Program,

identify production yields through our Production

Reporting, and evaluate Quality Control with the help of

our highly trained QC Lab. As a full service contract

manufacturer, Roscom has the ability

to take companies product formulations, along with our

material development expertise and capabilities, to

provide a proprietary finished custom product.

Value Added Services

Our computerized system is one of the most

prevalent in the industry today. Our systems are

designed to provide customers with email

confirmations when raw materials arrive at our

location, when finished goods are ready for

shipment, invoicing, quality control information,

plus many more. With the systems in place, we

have the capability to create masterbatches

before mixing on the production line, perform

drop-ins of specific raw ingredients into the

mixer at various stages of the run, and pull

reports to illustrate running conditions.

Under a contract manufacturing agreement, Roscom will offer raw material

procurement, product manufacturing, custom packaging, private labeling,

custom bar coding, as well as re-engineering our equipment if required.

Based on production demands, we offer silos for storing resins, filler, or

other additives at an additional cost. In regards to raw materials, we will

establish a raw ingredient receiving schedule so when the raw materials are

delivered at our facility, we can store them in your very own designated

racking area. At any given time, we can pull detailed reports from our

computerized system such as our customer ingredient stock report which

indicates inventory levels so planning can be coordinated efficiently. Once a

production run is over, Roscom places your finished goods in a separate

location so that the material can ship when necessary.

Quality Control

Quality control is one of our main focuses at Roscom which is

why we take quality checks to the next level. Since we are an

ISO 9001 certified facility, we test our raw materials when

they are received to ensure we are processing quality raw

ingredients, as well as conducting various QC checks during

each run to guarantee consistency from batch to batch. While

Roscom has its own procedures in place, other procedures may

be warranted by other organizations. For example, procedures

may be needed such as raw material drop-ins, various running

temperatures, cleaning cycles, etc. If so, we can adjust,

modify, or put in place new procedures as if the job was being

conducted internally. With that being said, we will work with

you to establish the most efficient way to manufacture your

proprietary formulation. Being that Roscom has been

compounding for over 30 years, we can offer various

recommendations to see if other mechanics will work with

your specific end application.

QC Equipment

Roscom will work with your company to

establish specific color objectives that need to

be targeted. With the use of our BYK Color

Meter we can dial in to the exact L*, a*, b*

delta readings. Retains will be stored from the

initial trial run which will be kept as a control

so that your material is consistent from first

run to last run.
