TOKYO INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY EXHIBITION 2016

19th Largest Trade Show for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in Japan

TOKYO INTERNATIONAL

INDUSTRY EXHIBITIONINTERNATIONAL

[High dealmaking potential][Expansion of the scale of the exhibition]

The objectives of the Tokyo International Industry Exhibition are to create a platform to display the outstanding technologies and products achieved by a diverse array of small and medium-sized businesses that have offi ces mainly in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area (Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa), as well as providing opportunities for those businesses to engage in a range of business activities, such as expanding their sales channels, establishing new partnerships with other businesses, and gathering and exchanging information.

Objectives of the Exhibition

The Tokyo International Industry Exhibition has been reborn in 2016, under the theme of “NEXT UP,” as a venue for gathering together many ambitious small and medium-sized businesses that aspire to be future leaders of the Japanese economy. We will expand the scale of the exhibition, and support meetings and interactions between exhibitors and visitors in various aspects with the aim of further increasing the number of business opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses.

Theme of the Exhibition

The Tokyo International Industry Exhibition 2016 has greatly expanded the scale of the exhibition with the aim of providing substantially more opportunities for potential exhibitors to participate. In addition, by devoting significant resources to a campaign to get people to come to the venue, we will create more business opportunities for exhibitors and visitors alike.

[Gathering a wide range of businesses and industries]This is the 19th year of the Tokyo International Industry Exhibition. This exhibition has become firmly established as a place that exhibits the latest technologies and services, and is attended by large numbers of people from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, trading companies, retail, the service industry and the public sector. Various business opportunities are created through direct interactions between companies and organizations from a diverse array of fi elds.

■ Attendance by many decision makers directly involved in business discussions

Another strength of the Tokyo International Industry Exhibition is the number of “decision makers” with responsibility for making business deals. Out of the visitors attending at last year’s exhibition, more than approx. 51% of the total were executives with the authority to make purchases or approve installations. In addition, about 28% of all visitors were from large corporations with over 300 employees. If you want to pitch your business to lots of people, and develop it further, you should defi nitely come to the Tokyo International Industry Exhibition.

At the Tokyo International Industry Exhibition, we provide multiple matching support strategies to enable effective business discussions with the target visitors that our exhibitors are looking for.We provide total support, not only at the planning stage and during the event, but also after the event as well. We support smooth business discussions through our business discussion reservation system, which can be accessed via our website, and also through our unique system of “matching concierges.”

We ensure participant satisfaction by providing substantial support not only for fi rst time exhibitors, but also for repeat exhibitors as well.We also hold skill improvement seminars and networking parties for exhibitors where you can look forward to learning about ways your company can get the most out of the exhibition, exchanging information with other exhibitors before the event and business matching. These supports will surely increase the effectiveness of your booth.
