Aspen Academy 1st Grade Service Learning

Aspen Academy 1st graders hosted four of their amazing elder friends in their classroomtoday.  They had fun singing, dancing, and reading to their friends as part of theirGenerations service learning project.

Our new bees have arrived and were put into their new home last weekend.  The new hiveis located in the garden against the wall to protect the bees from the elements. We arelooking forward to a healthy, thriving hive.  Thank you to our parents, Aree B and Gargi Afor their help and expertise.

Aspen Academy families are encouraged to call or text Dillon (Aspen class of 2012)directly at (303) 829­3667 to arrange for their lawn mowing needs!  Dillon has beenaccepted to Boston University and its' prestigious Boston London Program as well asColorado State University.  CSU is pulling ahead given the allure of being able to bewith his older brother and sister and being able to continue to build his business.        

 

Lost and Found 

A friendly reminder to continue to check the Lost and Found for your missingitems.  All items will be on display next Friday, so please stop by in the morningand take a look.  Also, don't forget to write your child's name on each of theiritems so lost items can be returned to the correct owner.  Thank you!  .

Graduation/Field Day Update:

Students will receive field day t­shirts on Tuesday, 5/31 in homeroom.  Please make surethey wear them on Friday, June 3 All Aspen students will perform at our school­wide graduation ceremony. Following graduation, join us for a new and improved field day.  All school picnic at 11:00AM in the park.  (Order your lunch from Wholesome Tummies)Bring some extra money for the PCO­provided yogurt truck!

Please follow parking lot etiquette:  No cell phone usage.Speed limit is not to exceed 9 mph. The fire lane is a drop off lane only.  No parking allowed. All students need to load in and out of the car on the curb side

Please remember not to park in the reserved parking spaces for the Curtis Arts Center.
