The sun shone this year on both days, which made demonstrating dowsing to members of the public

an enjoyable experience. I lost count of how many times I heard “Wow! I didn’t know it worked.” As

always, the children who tried their hand got a dowsing reaction first try.

At both ends of the Devon Dowsers’ gazebo, there were conveniently placed water and energy lines

to dowse, which was a relief as we were located in a pretty tight spot. This is a wonderful

opportunity to talk to interested people about dowsing, what it can be used for, and the different

dowsing tools available.

The Devon Dowsers shop sold out of 3.2 mm dowsing rods which proved very popular. There was a

lot of interest in chakra pendulums as well as the crystals.

A big “thank you” to all Devon Dowser members who attended and helped to demonstrate dowsing,

worked in the shop, as well as those who provided the pre-event organisation.

Powderham Castle in the sunshine is such a beautiful setting to share our ancient art.
