TERMS & CONDITIONS:BIDDING DISPUTES: The auctioneer is in charge and will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.

TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash. All settlements will be made with the clerks of the sale immediately following the conclusion of the sale and before cattle will be released.

PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Insurance will be available sale day.

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A certificate of registry and transfer will be furnished for each animal sold as a registered animal, after settlement has been made.

BREEDER’S GUARANTEE: All bulls are guaranteed to be breeders. All claims for adjustment of refund must be made in writing within six months of the sale date. In the event a bull is claimed to be a non-breeder, the purchaser may return the animal to the ranch of the Seller if in good condition and complying with the health requirement of the Seller’s state. The Seller will be entitled to six months trial following the return of the animal in which to prove that the animal is a breeder. If at the end of the six months the Seller is unable to prove the animal is a breeder, the Seller shall be obligated to replace the animal with another of equal value or to refund the purchase price. The return of the full purchase price shall in any case be deemed full satisfaction and settlement. If the Seller proves the animal to be a breeder, it shall be the obligation of the purchaser to take delivery of the animal at the purchaser’s expense.

SELLER’S SEMEN RIGHTS: Seller reserves the right to keep a breeding interest in any bull so designated in the cata-log or during the auction. In the event Seller elects to collect semen from a designated bull it will be done at Seller’s expense and during such time when purchaser is not using the bull for breeding.

IDENTIFICATION: Each animal carries a readable tattoo.

LIABILITY: Neither owners, sale manager, clerks nor anyone connected with the sale assumes responsibility, legal or otherwise, for damage of any kind.

Welcome to this year’s sale from Severance Red Angus. The year 2011 is going to be remembered as the year of change for our family here at Severance Red Angus. We all have experienced the changes in weather from one of the stormiest snow filled winters last year, to the wettest summer in history. Now we have moved to a much appreciated snowless open winter. The cattle are still grazing, and we have been able to catch up on odd jobs we missed in this wet summer. But the biggest change here has been the start of our empty nest. Carissa has graduated high school and started college, leaving us with an empty bedroom, and an empty spot in our family at home. We are proud of the young lady we have raised, and give her all the support we can, as she attends NDSCS studying in Animal Science. All this being said, we would like our selection of two year old bulls to speak for themselves this year. They are an excellent set of bulls, grown out gradually, and grazed out for the summer.
