To use Screencast-o-matic:

1. Download software: http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/download 2. Follow instructions to install it. 3. Open the program.

4. Position the dotted line recording box around the screen (and gadgets) you wish to capture.

5. Modify the options on the menu at the bottom of the recording box. 6. Click the red RECORD button. 7. Your video can be up to 15 minutes long. After recording your video, push the blue PAUSE

button…then click DONE.

8. A new window pops up. In this new window, you can preview your video (green play button on the

bottom left). (I don’t see a place to edit the video, though…)

9. Now you can select how you want to PUBLISH your video.

10. If you choose “Publish to Screencast-O-Matic,” you need to have an account with them. I don’t know about storage limits.

11. If you choose “Publish to YouTube,” you can enter all the info RIGHT NOW! 12. You can also just publish it to a video file (MP4, AVI, FLV, GIF) and then upload it to Canvas (?).

13. Follow the instructions---and VOILA! You are AMAZING! Video lectures, here you come!
