Matthew 23:27-28 "You're hopeless, you religion scholars and Pharisees! Frauds! You're like manicured grave plots, grass clipped and the flowers bright, but six feet down it's all rotting bones and worm-eaten flesh. People look at you and think you're saints, but beneath the skin you're total frauds.”

Luke 13:10-17 15 The Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each of you on the Sabbath untie your ox or donkey from the stall and lead it out to give it water? 16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”

Jesus was always helping people discover His Father.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus served through sacrifice, putting the needs of others above His own.

John 13:2-54 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. 5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet,

and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

God's work is people!

How should we go about equip leaders?

- Passing on the Scriptures to them,- modeling a Christ-focused life and ministry,- and helping them identify and prepare for the mission God has designed for them.
