TPM Study Mission to Japan
CII Institute of Quality, TPM Club India in collaboration with JIPM and JMAC is organising a unique Study Mission to Japan from 17 to 23 March 2019. Besides attending the prestigious JIPM's TPM Award Ceremony to be held in Kyoto on 21 March 2019 and one-day TPM Seminar by JIPM, Mission members will also have the opportunity to visit world class manufacturing plants in Nagoya/Osaka/Kyoto in Japan (the exact plant visit details are being nalized).
Rationale
Ÿ Observe rst-hand TPM, TQM & Lean methodologies implemented by world class Japanese companies.
Ÿ Learn the methodologies that over 66 years have made Japanese manufacturing competitive.

REGISTRATION Ÿ Delegate Registra�on to be done online Ÿ Mission program and other details of the Mission will be sent to the delegates a�er receiving their confirma�onŸ Prior registra�on and advance payment of fee is mandatory.Ÿ The total number of delegates would be restricted to 20 on first come first served basis.Ÿ Delegate fee is not refundable. However, change in nomina�on is accepted subject to obtainability of travel document/arrangements.Ÿ The last date to receive the registra�on along with payment is 15th February 2019.

TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONSŸ Air Tickets to and fro Japan should be borne by the DelegatesŸ Delegates must have passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of travelŸ The required Japan visa to be arranged by Delegates. Necessary invita�on from Japan and visa recommenda�on le�er will be arranged by CII.Ÿ Delegates are requested to book their �ckets to Nagoya (Chubu Centrair Interna�onal Airport, Japan) Hotel
details, etc. will be shared on confirma�on of your par�cipa�onŸ Kindly note: there will be a Briefing Mee�ng on 17 March 2019, evening at the Hotel. Please plan your travel accordingly.Ÿ The Mission will end by 23 March 2019 March evening. Those who are not staying back in Japan, may book

About TPM Club India
When the Indian economy was opened up during early 90's, Indian Industry had to constantly strive towards becoming competitive with many global players entering Indian Market. One such philosophy which has been very successfully adopted was Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). With an objective of supporting Indian Industry to become competitive through adoption of TPM, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) signed a MoU with Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM), Japan in March 1998. TPM Club India of CII thus became the launch vehicle to promote TPM in India.
