stage we’re still thinking about what a leader is like.

What happened when one of you took over the leadership of the class?

When Carwyn Jones became the First Minister for Wales in December 2009 he was given the most important leadership position in Wales because of his strong leadership qualities.

Friends & colleagues describe Carwyn Jones as somebody who is focused & committed to the Welsh people: “He likes to do a job well.” A good knowledge of his country & his people

have also been a quality that has helped Carwyn reach his current leadership position. He is often described by friends as being a confident & enthusiastic man, yet somebody who is also tolerant & patient towards others. “He rarely argues,

yet he will stand firm if he believes something is true,” a Welsh Assembly Government colleague noted…

In pairs, you have 2 minutes to decide which of the people above, in your opinion, has the most power in your life. Or, do you think there’s another leader who has more power in your life than any of these people (for example somebody you live with)? Explain your answer.
