    Dear Sir,

With reference to the above-referred subject and EAC Minutes of Meeting (MoM), dated November 30th

2017, our point-wise reply of the queries are as follows:-

    S.No. Queries Reply

1 A certificate from the local body supplying

water, specifying the total annual water

availability with the local authority, the

quantity of water already committed, the

quantity of water allotted to the project under

consideration and the balance water available.

This should be specified separately for ground

water and surface water sources, ensuring that

there is no impact on other users.

Water and sewer permission is attached as

    Annexure 1.

    2

The Air Quality Index shall be calculated for

    base level air quality.

The air Quality Index of the project site is

    151.

3 A detailed report on compliance to ECBC

    norms.

ECBC compliance report is attached as

    Annexure 2.

4 A detailed traffic management and traffic

decongestion plan to ensure that the current

level of service of the roads within a 05 kms

radius of the project is maintained and

improved upon after the implementation of the

project. This plan should be based on

cumulative impact of all development and

increased habitation being carried out or

proposed to be carried out by the project or

other agencies in this 05 Kms radius of the site

in different scenarios of space and time and the

    • Main road connecting to the project site

    is 75 m.

    • Separate entry exit will be provided

Internal road width is 6 m wide.

    • Speed breakers proposed at the entry

exit gate, at the entry/exit ramps of

basements and at regular interval of the

    internal road.

    • Signage for speed limit restricted to 20

kmph will be displayed along the

    internal roads.

  • traffic management plan shall be duly validated

and certified by the State Urban Development

department and the P.W.D. and shall also have

their consent to the implementation of

components of the plan which involve the

    participation of these departments.

    • One way internal traffic movement is

    proposed.

    • Parking norm as per local regulation

5 The permission of the CGWA for abstraction of

    ground water and for basement/excavation

    dewatering.

This is an vertical expansion project so

    permission of CGWA for basement/

    excavation dewatering is not required.

    Without getting approval from CGWA,

Ground water will not be extracted at any

    stage of the project.

6 A certificate of adequacy of available power

from the agency supplying power to the

project along with the load allowed for the

    project.

Power assurance letter is attached as

    Annexure 3.

7 A certificate from the competent authority for

    discharging treated effluent/ untreated

    effluents into the Public sewer/

disposal/drainage systems along with the final

    disposal point.

The same is attached as Annexure 1.

8 A certificate from the competent authority

handling municipal solid wastes, indicating the

existing civic capacities of handling and their

adequacy to cater to the M.S.W. generated

    from project.

Municipal solid waste will be handled by

    Ghaziabad Development authority

We trust that you will find the above clarifications / replies in-line with your requirements and looking

forward to get the environmental clearance for the project at the earliest.

  • Energy Simulation report has been compiled by Atmos Sustainable Solutions Pvt. Ltd. For located in

Gurgaon, India. The scope of the project is 3 Residential Buildings.

    SOFTWARE SUMMARY

The Energy simulation report contains results of energy analysis of the Proposed Buildings, To establish the

building performance rating as per ECBC, energy modeling was carried out by using simulation software

    called Trane TRACE 700.

The software is very well capable of simulating and analyzing on hourly basis.

This Simulation study shows that the project performs better as compared to the ECBC benchmark for

Energy Performance Index (Criteria 8). The proposed project shows 40.97% lower energy consumption than

    ECBC benchmark EPI.

    GRIHA COMPLIANCE

    MANDATORY

    - Compliance with Energy Conservation Building Code-2007 as per clause 14.1.1. (Mandatory)

    - Compliance with thermal comfort conditions as per National Building Code-2005/ASHRAE 55 – 2010.

-Minimum 20% reduction below the benchmark for Energy Performance Index (EPI) as per ECBC. (2 Points)

    APPRAISAL

As per ECBC Energy Performance Credit, Every 10% reduction in EPI of the building under a specified

category shall fetch additional 2 points to a maximum of 8 points (50% reductions in EPI from the

    benchmark). (2-10 points)
