England hit by USA Monster truck

It was a friendly match but both

coaches agreed upfront this could be a good test case for the upcoming

national Cups.

Darren 'McCarty' Majek was the man of the match with his first 3 goals for

the National team from the 6 scored during the match and it seemed that

the Eagles took this match a bit more seriously then manager Chunky was

taking it. With a consequential devastating defeat as result.

With only four shots on target, sharpness was no where to be found and the

tactical move from USA coach Homer Quenneville to post 3 central defenders and a defensive midfielder in front of the defence was a sound one.

Lets hope the following matches against Cuba and Estonia will give the

England fans something to cheer about or else the upcoming manager

election will probably not give manager Chunky another chance to

stay in his seat for the next period unles they end in the top 4 of the EC.

The excellent results of team USA are hopefully a little taste of what is to

come during the the next Americas Cup tournament.

The current FITA nr. 7 ranking is a good reflection of the squad strenght and

perhaps they can pull a rabbit out of the hat and surprise the criticasters while they move up the ladder during this season and the upcoming period.

Indonesia ready for AC? With one of the larger TM communities, Indonesia is grower stronger and the Asian group phase shouldn’t be much of a challenge.

Or does it and can China hold Indonesia from progressing into the next round

as China is producing results lately (4-3 against UK) and will not stand by idle while Indonesia claims all the glory.

We can’t wait to see what will happen in Group 4 of the Asian Cup

How’s LOS IDA doing? Last season they finally pulled it off. After being the runner up in season 15 the UETA Champions Cup was brought home to Slovakia in season 35. Twenty

long seasons of waiting for the right moment to claim victory and what a moment it was.

With the same team still in tact and after aquiring Marek Hrdlicka (DR) it

seems they are a bit stronger then before and they probably will be

competing again for that Champions Cup. Hugo Jendek will be out for 6 weeks and this can be a problem as the war treasury isn’t full at the moment and the

manager doesn’t want to burn all available reserves before the tournament starts.

At the moment they are on track to become yet again champion of Slovakias

Super Liga and break their record of becoming champion for the third time in a row. However the season is still young and the competition fierce so they

will have to give it all if they want to succeed. TMF wishes them all the luck, they will need it!

Enhance your TM experience with browser

extensions.

Call them browser extensions, plugins, or add-ons – they are simple little programs that extend the functionality of a browser. Using these little

programs, you can power-up your browser to handle a variety of tasks which a browser without these tools wouldn’t have been able to perform. The

ultimate goal is to make your online life easier and give you a better browsing experience.

For both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome there are extensions that enrich

your browser experience. There are advantages like player skills on more pages and ASI on your player overview page to benefit from and make your

life a little easier.

How does it work?

I am no programmer but for you and me, just download the file (*.js) in Google Chrome open the Settings part and drag and drop the file from where

it was downloaded and your extension should be live after you restarted your browser. See the extensive explanation on the bottom of this page.

There can be a down side to all this bling. When your browser is acting up all of a sudden (in my case the match viewer didn’t work properly) remember

you can switch of the individual extensions at your leisure and find the conflicting extension instantly.

And don’t expect a lot of support from the creators as these extensions are created by individuals who probably moved on to other projects and are not

likely concerned with your little bug reports.

Mozilla Firefox users have to install Greasemonkey before they can use the TM

Auxiliary files.

Install Chrome extensions

● Instead of opening the extension you'd like to install directly, right-click the download

link and select Save Link As to download the extension to your desktop.

● Open Chrome's extensions page in your browser by pasting

chrome://chrome/extensions/ into your address bar and pressing Enter.

● Drag and drop the extension you just downloaded into the Chrome extensions page.

TrophyBuddy v2.7

Another great extension to add to you browser is TB v2.7. This tool adds menu’s and a favorite player position rating and much more.

If something doesnt work as it should or when you have questions about

these applications you can always ask around in that forum section. Most of the time readers and user gather there and can give you advice and answer

questions you might have.

VERDICT

There are benefits in using these kind of extensions and indeed enhance your overall TM experience. The inventors have done a great job in providing the

communitie with a tool that can relatively be installed easy with some basic knowledge of browsers.

These extensions are well thought off and can give the manager a little edge

over non-users and make the job of the manager a bit more easy.

On the other hand, the extensions are not official Chrome or Firefox ones and therefore have little to no support. If you get somekind of problem using the

extension you are mostly on your own or need to be lucky that another manager have suffered from the same bug and can help in some way.

Some extenstions can conflict with others as well and updating your Firefox browser (Google Chrome is updated automatically) can create conflicts

between extension versions and Browser versions as well.

Maybe the more experience extension user will suffer from these bugs faster but will likely know his way around to solve the problem as well.

Small Country Big Achievement Despite of its small number of clubs, Palestine made it to the finals of ANC for the first time.

Palestine that used to play while hoping to lose with dignity, in the last qualification matches won over the cup holder South Africa ranked 12th

according to last FITA Rank. Recently the team was able to go toe-to-toe with USA ranked 7th, in a

friendly match which was a cause of celebration for the small country.

Palestine will play in the second group in ANC, together with South Africa (cup

winner season 32), Tunisia (cup winner season 28), Nigeria (bronze season 32). Since Palestine is the lowest ranked team in that group there will be two

away matches and one at home.

Gone but not forgotten TM has been in England since season 3 and was first won by the defunct

Seattle Blue FC. However, from the 18 strong teams did you know that one of the original members is still in the game? Formerly known as Broughton

Citizens FC, they finished 2nd in the Inaugural season and managed to win the Premier in s12 and the Cup in s6.

They have been renamed Salford Bhoys in recent seasons and still around but

not as high profile as they were in the good old days. They may be out of the spotlight but they still have a English Premier title to their name which is a

real feat. At the moment they are kicking it within Englands third tier but who knows, maybe one day they will return to the top flight?
