What I Need to Know
Mr. DJ, can I request? … Does it sound familiar? If you need something, you have to request for it. Have you tried that? Yes, in EIM, tasks and projects are
demanded from you from time to time. Forms are to be filled out in requesting
materials, tools, and equipment.
After going through this module, you are expected to demonstrate mastery in
requesting tools, equipment and materials. TLE_IAEI9-12ET-Iae-1
What I Know
It’s good to reflect always because it helps you assess your past. In this part
of your module, you have to look back and see what you’ve got. As you move forward,

Request forms are very important. Construction workers need these to
request supplies and materials as they start to work and as they return after
using what have been requested. Requesting tools, equipment, and materials
need to undergo a correct process so that everything will be in order.
What’s In
In this lesson, you will learn the principles in the preparation of
electric and hydraulic tools. This module will guide you to select the
needed tools, equipment, and materials per job requirement; prepare a
list and request them according to the list prepared. Requests are done
based on the company standard operating procedures (SOP). So,
whenever there are materials, tools, and equipment unavailable, these
are immediately substituted and provided for so as not to sacrifice cost
and quality of work.

Requesting Tools, Equipment, and
Materials
Notes to the Teacher
Remind your learners that this part of their lesson is just a
refresher of the previous lesson on filling out of forms. Remind
them to be accurate when they fill out forms. They need to write
legibly and avoid erasures.
