3. WHAT IS THE DOLLAR LIMIT THAT WE MAY APPLY FOR?

$5,000.00 per district is the maximum Any amount up to $5,000 can be requested Funds can be used for new hardware and

software items (with the exception of POS systems)

These funds may only be used by food service and all items purchased may only be used by food service

4. CAN MY DISTRICT APPLY FOR THIS GRANT IF WE HAVE FEWER THAN 50% F/R STUDENTS?

The answer is Yes Preference will be given to those

schools with higher percentages, however all districts may apply and all complete applications will be considered

5. DO WE HAVE TO GO OUT FOR A FORMAL BID?

7. WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS MONEY?

To assist school district food service departments upgrade technology components by providing funding for software and/or hardware systems

The funding provided by Idaho Child Nutrition Programs, Idaho State Department of Education was made available through

funding received from the USDA 2014 Tier 2 Implementation Grant
