Hugues Le Bret is the Founder & Chairman of Financière des Paiements Electroniques (Compte Nickel). He his the former Chairman and CEO of Boursorama Bank (France, UK, Germany & Spain). He has served as Head of Group Communications, Innovation and Internet businesses at Societé Génerale and was a Member of the Company’s Executive Comitee between Nov-99 and Dec-99.
He first worked as a Financial Analyst. In 91, he was appointed Head of Business Development of Publicis Group. In 94, he founded ABW SA, which he sold to Havas Group in 96.
He is the author of L’Espoir Economique (1998), La Semaine où Jerome Kerviel a failli faire sauter le système financier mondial (2010), Nobank (2013). He is also co-founder of the Croissance Plus charitable organisation.

Thaima Samman is a member of the Paris and Brussels Bars and founding partner of SAMMAN Cabinet d’avocats/ Law & Corporate Affairs, specialized in Public Policy in Paris and Brussels. She is also the President and founding member of the European Network for Women in Leadership (WIL).
She began her career as a founding member of a prominent French NGO, SOS Racisme, aiming to fight all forms of discrimination, where she devoted several years to its development before serving as a member of staff for Claude Bartolone, current President of the French National Assembly.
She practiced law at Gillot and Associates law firm before joining August & Debouzy law firm where she developed their Corporate Affairs Department.
In 2000, she made the leap into the world of business to create a start-up before joining the management Committee of Philip Morris France as Head of the Communications and Corporate Affairs Department.
In 2003, she joined Microsoft France to lead the Legal and Public Affairs Department. She then moved to Microsoft Europe, Middle East & Africa as Associate General Counsel where she led the Corporate Affairs Department in the region, driving and coordinating policy, regulatory and CSR activities, which included the supervision of the Brussels office.
She has authored various publications on issues such as immigration and foreigners’ rights, privacy issues, and information technology.
In 2014, Thaima launched alongside with other consultants the Financial Policy Advisers network, gathering experts in financial policy and regulation within the EU.
Thaima received the National Order of the Legion of Honor for the Republic of France.
Jérôme Charpentier worked during 15 years in the Capital Market Industry. He spent 12 years at Crédit Agricole Cheuvreux where he was successively Global Head of Organization and UK COO. Jean Galfione was born in Paris on 9 June 1971. He became Olympic pole-vaulting champion in Atlanta in 1996, when he cleared the bar at 5.92m, a new Olympic record.
He became the first French athlete to jump over 6 metres on 6 March 1999 on the occasion of his victory at the World Championships, and he held the French record in outdoor pole vaulting from 1993 until 2009.
Since 2005, Jean has dedicated himself to his second passion, sailing. He took part in the America’s Cup in 2007 in Valencia with the French team and, after two Two-Handed Transat races, he became skipper of Team Serenis Consulting and took part in the Route du Rhum in 2014, coming in 18th.

Olivier Paquier is Vice President and Head of SPDR ETFs at SSGA France. In charge of SPDR ETFs for France & Iberia, he is responsible for all SPDR-related sales activities across the whole SSGA client base, whether Institutional or Intermediary.
Olivier was originally working as ETF Product Manager with NYSE Euronext in Paris, Olivier then joined Amundi ETF as Product Specialist in 2008. He namely developed the Amundi ETF activity among 8 markets in Europe. In 2011, he transferred to London in charge of UK and Spanish sales for Amundi ETF.
Olivier returned to Paris for his new role with SSGA's SPDRs initiative focus. His specific strong ETF background experience will allow his team to support the initiative with clients. Antoine Lesné is a Vice President of State Street Global Advisors and Head of ETF Sales Strategy for EMEA. Pablo Fernández's career at IESE started in 1985. Today he is professor in the Department of Financial Management and holder of IESE's PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance Chair. He is also visiting professor at the Piura (Peru), INALDE (Colombia), IAE (Argentina), IEEM (Uruguay) and IPADE (Mexico) Business Schools. In addition, he carries out extensive consultancy work for numerous firms and banks.
Prof. Fernández was awarded his Ph.D. and M.A. in business economics from Harvard University. He also holds an M.B.A. from IESE and a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Navarra in San Sebastian.
Before embarking on a career in academia, Prof. Fernández was the financial analyst and financial coordinator of Pepsi Cola for the south of Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, Libya and Malta) in Spain, a position he also held in Rome where he simultaneously took up the financial management for the Mediterranean Region (Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan) and Sudan.
Among other important appointments, Prof. Fernández was a member of the jury that awarded the sixth ACECA prize for outstanding articles on corporate accounts and administration (2000) and was also on the board of the McKinsey Best Internet Project Award (2000). In 2004, he received the IESE award for outstanding research. Earlier in his career he received the BARRA award for a project he undertook under the aegis of the Institute for Quantitative Investment Research (INQUIRE) titled "Convertible Bonds in Spain: a Different Security" (1991).
Prof. Fernández is a widely published author with an impressive list of book chapters, working and research papers, case studies, technical notes and journal articles on his curriculum. Recent book chapters include "Valuation of Brands and Intellectual Capital" in Brand Valuation -Concepts and Applications (2005). Recent peer-reviewed articles include "The Value of Tax Shields is NOT Equal to the Present Value of Tax Shields" in the Journal of Financial Economics (2004). Mr. Baron has been working on the linkages between climate change and energy policy since 1989. Prior to his positions at IEA and OECD, he worked in France at Cired (an economics research centre focused on energy and environment issues) and Iddri (International institute on sustainable development and international relations, a Paris-based think-tank), and in the USA at the Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest Laboratory. Mann is OECD Chief Economist and Head of the Economics Department since October 2014, She is responsible for advancing the Strategic Orientations of the OECD, ensures that the Department is at the forefront of economic thinking and coordinates the work of the Country and Policy Studies branches. She has enjoyed a distinguished career in the public sector and academia. Following 20-plus years in Washington DC, she was the Rosenberg Professor of Global Finance at Brandeis University and from 1997-2011 was a Senior Fellow and visiting Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. Earlier Ms. Mann served as a Senior International Economist at the US President’s Council of Economic Advisors and worked as a Special Assistant to the Vice-President for Development Economics/Chief Economist at the World Bank. She spent 13 years on the Federal Reserve Board as a Senior Economist.
She is a US citizen and holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
