present materials, which relate to the Yaqui
Wars in Sonora. Each reel represents almost
a separate chapter or topic in the history of
the war. Organized around telegrams sent to
Governor Ramon Corral by important
commanding generals in the Mexican Army.
Also contains names and ranks of soldiers in
the National Guard and accountings of
Yaquis working on farms, or fincas, and
haciendas. Has interesting letter concerning
Tucson as a possible depot for the sale of

La Sierra Yaqui about Apache raids, an
expediente written in Tucson about an
Apache raid, and expedientes about popular
subscriptions and packages for a campaign
against the Apache.
