Kia ora / Dear Parents
NZCT AIMS GAMES 2012
A warm welcome to the Tauranga Intermediate School Community to the 9th NZCT AIMS GAMES 2012.
We regret that this year we have had to charge to get in and then some of you wonʼt make it into the main auditorium. Unfortunately we are constrained by fire regulations and we must keep to these.
Despite this Tauranga Intermediate students will take a major part in the Opening Ceremony as follows:

We hope you can come along and join the fun of the Opening Ceremony and we wish our 250 strong team our very best wishes for a very successful 9th NZCT AIMS GAMES.

50 years ago the scourge of racism was stifling the development of millions of children in America. In 1963, a core group of these courageous young people stood up and said, “Enough!” The story of these child marchers imparts vital lessons that the 21st century child desperately needs to learn from - courage, resistance to peer pressure, empathy, non-violence and conviction.Through Angel’s Eyes brings the story of the 1963 Alabama child marches to life through the eyes of Angel Dunbar - and in Angel we finally have a role model for our times!
