The explosion of color that occurs on Washington Bulb Co.’s fields of tulips is breathtaking. A day spent admiring their splendor and ex- ploring the beautiful display gardens of RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town will shape memories for years to come. We hope you’ll have time to visit some of the businesses and people that come together to make the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival the premiere destination event in the Pacific Northwest. Weekends are very busy; arrive before 10 am to beat the crowds. The festival is a driving tour, with events MILES apart. The map in our brochure shows locations, but is not to scale. TULIPS – There will be tulips for you to see ALL of April. SHOW GARDENS – Visiting both RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town is a must! Over one million spring bulbs are planted in the gardens. Both gar- dens feature stunning plantings and beautiful displays. While visiting you can order bulbs, buy cut flowers and mementos, and take photos. Both charge admission; RoozenGaarde tickets cannot be used at Tulip Town and vice versa. Admission/parking must all occur on the same day. PARKING POINTER – if it’s too wet in the Official PAY parking lots, they will be closed as it is too soggy for vehicles. Private Parking – Landowners sometimes charge for parking. They are not affiliated with the festival; the money you pay cannot be used for garden admission or official parking. TULIPS – There will be tulips for you to see ALL of April. SHOW GARDENS – Visiting both RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town is amust! Over one million spring bulbs are planted in the gardens. Burlington ExitExit I-5 and head west on SR 20 toward Anacortes

Proceed west on SR 20 for 3 miles until you reach Best Rd/Farm To Market Rd; TurnLeft on Best Rd and proceed 1.7 miles until you reach McLean Rd.This will put you at the McLean Rd roundabout, in the center of the tulip growing area.There are numerous routes you can follow – consult the Festival map to decide.

Conway ExitExit off Interstate 5 and head west toward LaConner

Proceed approximately 0.1 mile. Enter the roundabout and turn onto Fir Island Rdand proceed west 5.1 miles where the road curves to the left and up an incline to abridge over the Skagit River. Continue on over the bridge for 3.1 miles when you willarrive at the intersection of Best and Calhoun roads. You are now at the southern edgeof the tulip growing area. From here, use the Festival map to visit events and ac-tivities, find your favorite field or visit the gardens, RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town.

Mount Vernon ExitExit off I-5 and head west for 0.1 mile

Turn right onto S Third St for 0.3 miles, then EITHER continue onto W. Division St for 0.5 miles (you will cross the Skagit River)Turn Left onto S Wall St; Wall St turns into McLean Rd in 249 feet; Continue onMcLean Rd for 2.5 miles. OR continue onto W Division St for 2.3 miles (you will cross the Skagit River)Turn Left onto Avon Allen Rd for 1.1 miles; Turn Right onto McLean Rd and proceed1 mile to Beaver Marsh Rd.At this point you can turn Left onto Beaver Marsh Rd and proceed 0.4 miles toRoozenGaarde. Or, you can proceed on for 1 mile and turn right onto Bradshaw Rdand proceed 0.5 miles to Tulip Town.

The quickest route out of the tulip field area is SR 20Use the Festival map to locate where you are and proceed to SR 20

which will take you east to I-5. If you decide to leave via Fir Island Rd to the south,we suggest you consider using the following route from the intersection of Fir IslandRd and Pioneer Highway: Enter the roundabout and turn onto Pioneer Highway andproceed south 2.3 miles; Turn left onto Milltown Rd and proceed east 0.9 miles. Thisis the intersection of I-5 and Exit 218. From here you can proceed north or southon I-5 to your end destination.
