below work great but if you just hate cleaning and if you live in the Maryland area you can always reach out to a local Maid service in Montgomery County, one of the best things about hiring a maid is that you can be sure that your house will be spotless once the maid leaves.

Cleaning Blenders Easily and Quickly

Anyone that makes shakes at home knows that the blender can sometimes be a pain to clean, especially since most blenders these days have a blade that is either really hard to get out or is attached and you can't get it off. Because of this it’s hard to and sometimes dangerous to clean the blender. But! If you have a little patience this can be cleaned super well and quickly. Simply empty out as much of the drink as you can, then wash it out using hot water with a little shake from side to side, empty that out. Then you can take hot water and fill it about 1/4 of the way up to the top of the blender, add in just a dime of dish washing liquid, set the blender on high and run it for 1-4 minutes. The hot water mixed with the liquid soap will clean off the sides, the blade and anywhere else the shake has touched. Then take it back to the sink, empty it out, rinse again and good as new! Also, most blender tops can be placed in the dishwasher (top rack).

Microwave Short Cuts

Some people don't realize just how easy microwaves are to clean out. It’s quite simple and like the oven with its self-cleaner, the microwave works the same way. Place a microwave safe cup in the microwave filled with water. Microwave on high for about 3-5 minutes. This will create steam in the microwave and then make it incredibly easy for you to take a paper towel and get any food or liquid off of the walls, ceiling or floor of the microwave. Alternatively you can use wet paper towels - but this one needs to be looked after since it is paper.

Glass Coffee Pot Tip

Most people these days either go out for coffee in the morning, have something like a Keurig, or they are sticking by the old standard; the glass coffee pot. If you have a glass coffee pot you might be noticing that it’s starting to get stained from all the hot coffee. No big deal! Take some lemon, salt, and ice and put it into the glass pot, swirl the mixture around and in about 3 minutes it will clean all of that brown staining away. Rinse when done. Extra tip: If you also find that your coffee tastes weird these days, you can actually run white vinegar through the entire machine to clean out any leftover coffee grinds - or if you are unlucky enough, mold. Mold CAN grow in the system of the coffee pot, so doing this tip every few months is a great way to clean it out. Afterward run water through, just like you did with the vinegar and that will remove any leftover vinegar.

Garbage Disposal - Odor and Disinfectant

You probably tend to place a lot of things down your disposal that is what it’s for after all! But, because of this; between the veggies, raw meat, and god knows what else, it can get really smelly and bacteria can grow like nuts down in that deep little dark whole. Disinfecting it and getting the odor out of there can seem like a chore, but it’s actually quite easy. For disinfectant, you can use ice cubes made from half water and half vinegar to get any bacteria out of there. You can also use leftover lemons, limes or orange peels (or the fruit itself) as odorizes. Just cut them in half, then in half again and put one piece at a time down the disposal, turn it on, hands out of the way of course, and keep doing that until it smells better!

Hopefully, some of these tips helped you out. If you really hate cleaning, get someone else to do it for you and if you find a good Maid maybe you can give your friend their number too!
