GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING CONTESTAnnual Gingerbread House Decorating contest is back for another year of fun. Participate in this contest and bring back an old time family tradition. HALLOWEEN PARADE,PARTY AND COSTUME JUDGINGMonday, October 21, 2019 at 5:30pm. Meet at Broadway Elementary on Dow Street. At 6pm, follow the band to the Zion Lutheran Church. In case of rain, the parade will be canceled and costume judging will take place in the Monroe Township at 6:30 pm. Games and prizes for all age groups.
HOLIDAY GIFT GIVING PROGRAMProvides Christmas gifts to children of needy families in Tipp City and Monroe Township. Families who need assistance should apply October 21–November 15 (call 667-8631 to receive help or to sponsor a family).

CHALLENGE ISLAND: SPOOKTACULAR KID’S NIGHT OUT(AGES 6-8)We will be making monster blood slime, spooky mansions and a haunted house train ride! Challenge Island is a one-of-a-kind enrichment program on the cutting edge of S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and math). We take children on a unique “island” adventure, where they work in collaborative tribes to take on various S.T.E.A.M challenges using only the materials in their treasure chest and their creativity. HOLIDAY DRAMA WORKSHOP: GRADES 4–8Join the Holiday Drama Workshop as we work to prepare our reader’s theater rendition of the traditional holiday story, The Nutcracker. Students will develop their characters and will work on theater basics (voice, characterization, movement). The Nutcracker ensemble will present their show before the Tipp City Community Band Holiday Concert on Friday, December 6th at the Zion Lutheran Church.
