Wood.Wood may seem a bit “low tech” to some. You would be surprised how strong and light the timber is that we use to erect the tipi tents.

The wood used for our poles is not picked at random; it’s carefully selected from late-maturing,de-barked spruce. Some of the chosen trees are up to 150 years old. This selection process ensures the poles are extremely strong and long lasting.

Canvas.Canvas has been used in different forms for around 3500 years for everything from birchbark canoes to Picasso’s oil paintings.

We use modern canvas, which is flame-retardant and made from a blend of cotton and synthetic fiber. This makes it the perfect material for our tipi tents, as it is both practical and nice to look at.

FAQ’s ›

What is the capacity of each tent?We can comfortably seat 72 guests and accommodate 100 standing guests in one tipi tent. We can join any number of tents together giving lots of different options. Just let us know your requirements and we can help with floor plans to show you what is possible.

How much space do the tipi tents need? For each tipi tent we require a level area measuring 14 meters in diameter. Normally a quick site visit is needed to make sure the proposed location is suitable and that access is possible.

Can you supply toilets?Sure thing! Based on the number of anticipated guests we can propose a suitable toilet solution.

Do the tipi tents need cooling? It really depends on the time of year and the nature of your event. We can install air conditioning in the warmer months to make your guests more comfortable.

Can you help with power supply?If your event is taking place in a location with no direct power supply we can bring in a generator.

Are the tipi tents flame resistant? Yes – all of our tents have been specially treated to make them flame resistant. Ask us if you need more details on this.

Interiors ›We know that having an amazing looking tent is not where the story ends. That’s why we have thought long and hard about how we can make the interiors as memorable as the exterior.

Furniture.On a basic level we can help with furniture. We stock items such as cocktail tables, dining tables, and lounge seating. We have many other items designed to work well in the tipi tents too. Some setups require customized soft furnishing to fit with a corporate identity or theme, this is our kind of thing and we are on hand to help.

Audio Visual. Many of our events require a sophisticated AV setup for speeches and presentations. From much experience we can advise you on what works well in this unique atmosphere.

Flooring. Durable matt flooring is often the first choice for our clients. It is very hard wearing and quick to install meaning you don’t have to worry about it. Depending on the location a hard floor may be more suitable. We also stock a hard flooring solution, which we can provide for your event.

Open Fires.In keeping with the tipi tents ambience an open fire adds a great centre point to an event. Our fire places are timber framed with a sheet metal firebox that sits on top so that the base of the fire is at hip height. Maybe an ice sculpture is more suitable in the summer though.

Finishing Touches. Attention to small detail is important to us. Finishing touches to décor make a big impact. We stock many items that work well for different types of event. Just let us know the feel you are going for so we can help out.
