WhAT IS ThE FÒRUm?the original enogastronomic congress and fair, created in 1999.

setting new trends, it has become a model to follow.

Continually evolving as it adapts to the times and trends of the professional food and wine sector.

it is a place for learning, for reflection and debate with a programme of activities designed specifically to offer the best tools to professionals; a market of products with a dynamic and participative trade fair; a real meeting place for the trade.

it is currently held in three places:

1999the birth in vic (province of Barcelona) of the Fòrum Gastronomic. the precursor of the gastronomic congress.

2001Consolidation of the model and growth of the trade fair.

2003pioneers in the creation of the ‘workshop’, live cooking with in situ tastings.

2005Emphasis on the workshop model and the trade fair grows even more.

2007the move from vic to girona. For the first time in the history of this type of congress, activities are offered to the general public with astounding success.

2008the first edition of the Fòrum in Santiago de compostela (Galicia, western spain), becoming the first event to be held in two leading cities.

2012Consolidation of the brand in galicia, it becomes the meeting point and platform for the restaurant trade in the area.

2013New: workshops and activities for professionals are held on sunday.

2014Expansion of the Fòrum. the first edition of the Fòrum in coruña (February) and in Barcelona, coinciding with Hostelco (october) were both major successes.

2015the second edition of the Fòrum in coruña (15th to 17th March) and the fifth in girona (15th to 17th november).
