Time is a very precious commodity to many. Especially as people get older, time becomes very important. Time can never be regained when it is lost and our lives revolve around time. It controls us. As people go, each one generally has a watch that helps them stay on time. But for the world, there is a time clock that controls the destiny for mankind and the Bible lets us know that there is one place that time really revolves around. It is a small piece of land that can be crossed in 8 or 9 hours one way and 2 to 4 hours in another direction. God picked it and its people out of all the people in the world to be His Chosen people. He’s never withdrawn His promise or never will, despite all the problems He has allowed and the punishment He has had to see them through because of their disobedient hearts toward His covenant between them. The nation of Israel is the world’s time clock. Whatever happens or involves the country of Israel and its people also involves the world. The greatest changes coming to this world are going to come through what happens to the God-chosen people He singled out and made a lasting covenant with. This nation or any other would be wise to remember this. If a nation does not stand with Israel, it will struggle and when a nation sides against Israel it will suffer. If a nation works to destroy Israel, it will be destroyed itself.
