Target: Improve your ability to judge your own word knowledge
Your should become proficient at answering questions such as:Do I know the meaning of this word?Does the meaning I know for this word fit the context?
Do I know the meaning of this word well enough to keep reading with an adequate level of comprehension?
Tier II (2) Words should:Come from your text that fall into the tier two category
Be words that occur frequently in many types of text
Examples: hazardous, fugitive, ambitious
Tier II (2)Words should not:Be every day words such as red, happy, sad
Be content specific words such as geometry, photosynthesis, geography
