Tier 2 Intervention Flow Chart
Student is referred to the Behavior Data Team for Intervention.
Small Group Intervention with a baseline data collection
Data Team members meet to determine the best fit intervention based on the completed teacher referral.
Small Group Intervention & Check In Check Out
Check In Check Out
After 6 weeks of intervention, the Data Team reviews the progress made.
80% or higher success based on data collection: continue with a second round of intervention. Increase independence.
Lower than 80% success based on data collection: continue intervention but modify for success.
After 6 more weeks of intervention, the Data Team reviews the progress made.
After 6 more weeks of intervention, the Data Team reviews the progress made.
80% or higher success based on data collection: continue with a third round of intervention. Increase independence.
Graduate and become a tier 1
student.
After 2 rounds without success, consider changes in the intervention or change the type of intervention.
After 3 rounds without success, move to a tier 3 intervention.
After 6 more weeks of interventions, the Data team reviews the progress made.
