Things to Remember Vendors: Vendors provided on our Preferred Vendor List are recommended. Outside vendors (not on our list) must be approved by Manager and provide proof of liability insurance at least 30 days in advance of your event. Menu Tastings: Menu Tastings are conducted for weddings with signed contracts only. Tasting time is at 5:00pm in the restaurant and facilitated by appointment only. The Bride and Groom are complimentary; you may invite additional guests for a charge of $35 per person. Hours: All weddings must conclude by 10:00pm in all ballrooms. If you want to save the top layer of your wedding cake, please arrange to have your baker bring a box that will fit your special sized cake top for safekeeping. Assign the job of reviewing the final banquet check to a parent or responsible individual who can sign and handle any final charges. Please color-code the place card of each guest to reflect their plated entrée. Please arrange these place cards in alphabetical order. If you are having your ceremony on the beach, please remember we have two high tides per day, depending on the phase of the moon; some tides may be very high, therefore; limiting the width of the beach at the center of the hotel. Did you know that flowers stored around fruit causes the flowers to wilt? Did you know that wedding cakes tend to pick up the scent of other foods? This is why our refrigerators are neither appropriate nor available for storage. Your wedding cake and flower deliveries must arrive during the set up time prior to your wedding. The reception rooms are climate controlled and are cool enough for both of these delicate items to stay fresh through the set up time and duration of your event. Bring the “little extra” items all in one box that can be used to return them to you. These items could include the guest book and pen, personal champagne glasses, special glasses for the wedding party and your cake knife and server. Assign the job of keeping track of these items to one of your wedding party members or a responsible guest. You want the freedom from these details.
