FAITH FORMATION NEWS
Parents Sacramental Required Meetings: two sacramental meetings per year are required for all parents who have chil-dren and youth in the Faith Formation program. Please note the dates for the sacramental meetings: October 7, 2017, November 4, 2017, January 20, 2018 and March 3, 2018. Choose two meetings out of the 4 scheduled above. Informa-tion will be on future Sunday bulletins. The students do not need to be present for the sacramental meetings. The meet-ings are from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Please be on time.
Safe-Environment Meeting: There is one safe environment meeting required for parents and students for the two years of the program. All first year Holy Communion, Confirmation students and parents are asked to attend one safe environ-ment meeting. The dates are: October 21 and October 28, 2017. The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and lasts one hour.
There are a few spaces left for first and second year of Con-firmation.
Youth Group meetings are on Wednesdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is a REQUIREMENT FOR CONFIRMATION.
Dress Code for classes and Youth Group: only long pants, blue jeans or khaki, no leggings, shorts or stretch material pants are permitted. Proper blouses or shirts, no sleeveless tops and no flips flops are permitted for footwear.
NOTICIAS DE FORMACIÓN EN LA FÉ Juntas sacramentales de padres: dos juntas sacramentales
son requeridas por año. Se han programado cuatro este año,
solo tiene que asistir a dos de ellas. Las juntas son octubre 7,
noviembre 4, 2017, enero 20 y marzo 3, 2018 de 10 a.m. a las
12 del mediodía. Los alumnos no tienen que estar presentes.
Reuniones de ambiente sano y seguro: Se requiere una junta
de ambiente sano y seguro a los padres y alumnos por los dos
años que dura el programa. Todos los padres y alumnos del
primer año de Comunión y de la Confirmación. La junta dura
una hora y empieza a las 10 a.m. Las fechas son el 21 y 28 de
octubre, 2017. Escoja una junta y traiga a su hijo/a.
Grupo juvenil: participación en el grupo juvenil es un requisi-
to para la confirmación. Las juntas son los miércoles de las 7
p.m. a las 8:30 p.m.
Vestuario para clases: no se permiten pantalones cortos, so-
lo pantalón largo de blue Jean o de Khaki, no leggings o mate-
rial pegado a la piel (stretch pants). No se permiten sandalias
pata de gallo. Por favor usen blusas y camisas con manga.

Organizers of the upcoming Laredo Walk to End Alzheimer's are inviting parishioners to join The Walk on the morning of Saturday, September 30, at TAMIU. They are actively seek-ing walking teams, sponsors, and health care providers to par-ticipate. Organizers are also looking for donations and volun-teers to help staff the walk.
