WE HAVE CHOSEN TO DO A PHYSCOLOGICAL, THRILLER TWO MINUTE OPENING. MAINLY BECAUSE WE FIND PHYSCOLOGICAL THRILLERS VERY INTERESTING AND THOUGHT-PROVOKING. WE ARE DETERMINED TO PORTRAY A MYSTERIOUS FILM OPENING, INCLUDING SUGGESTED MAIN CHARACTERS AND THEIR OCCUPATIONS.

WE ARE HOPING THAT THIS TWO MINUTE OPENING WILL ENGAGE THE AUDIENCE WITH THE MYSTERY AND MAKE THE VIEW THINK. THILLER FILMS ARE KNOWN TO BE FASCINATING.

GENRE• The genre we have chosen is a psychological thriller, because this will be

challenging but also interesting and engaging. We think that we can make this two minute opening look really good by the variation of different camera angles, and the location• Psychological thrillers are our primary choice of genre, as they make you think

about every possible outcome, as well as keeping the audience intrigued by creating suspense. This allows the audience feel different types of emotions. Furthermore I have taken a heavy influence from films such as ‘Se7en’ and ‘The Prestige’ as they both share elements that I would like to highlight in my first two minutes. For example in ‘Se7en’ they mostly use camera shots and angles to suggest the characters and the occupation, which I found effective, where as in ‘The Prestige’ they used angles to suggest what is going on later in the film and also used a voice over, this was very effective as it was portrayed deeply and intensely.

AUDIENCE PROFILE AGE: We have chosen to have our two minute opening as an 18 age certificate, to exaggerate and embellish the means of the film, also the film will show explicit scenes, of drugs, and violence, approaching an older audience.HOBBIES: people that enjoy thought-provoking, physiological thrillers, and detective films.CLASS: We have chosen any class to enjoy this as it cant really be relatable nor relevant to anyone.GENDER: We are aiming to make it suit both male and female.ETHNICITY: We think that this particular film will be mostly aimed at British people as that is where it is set. Non of the less this will suit any ethnicity.

NARRATIVEDetective Wilden and Detective Holbrook are high pressure and Advance detectives in London They are then given the most Intensive case yet.

As the detectives go further into the case they discover someone on there team is apart of the biggest crime in Britain.

The detectives need to find out who this is and put a stop to it before they ruin everything the detectives have been working so hard for

The lengths the detectives go through could potentially destroy there career or perhaps save the entire organisation.

TARGET AUDEINCEPRIMARY AUDIENCE:-Our primary audience is very broad, which loves thriller and action films, they are willing to endure the terror in order to enjoy the end result. These people will mostly be about 18-25, both men and women.

SECONDARY AUDIENCE:-Our secondary audience are also ages 18 to 25, however enjoy a thought provoking, surprising film, filled with suspense and intensity. Both genders.
