As the weeks pass since the accident, I continue to hear stories. Stories of

people stopping to stand on the side of the road to pray for those in the car, stories of people praying when they heard sirens, or seeing the news report, all the while having no idea that it was Spencer and me in the car. It makes me proud to be a part of the FAC family, knowing that it didn't matter who it was in the car – people were praying.

Thank you so much for your prayers, cards, emails ... As I lay in the hospital I had such a peace – I knew people were praying for us.

The healing process has been tough. Physically I'm not 100% yet, but I'm getting there slowly. The biggest struggle at this point is dealing with symptoms from the concussion. I can't thank you enough for all your love, support, and prayers over the last two months.

LEAD PASTORSEARCH UPDATESince September 2014, under the direction of our Elders, the Search Team (comprised of a mix of volunteer leaders including some who serve as Elders) has met regularly. In that time we have established a criteria in the search for our new Lead Pastor and considered over 35 applications, personally interviewing a number of potential candi-dates for the position. We continue to be in conversation with a number of people as we wait on God to direct us to His man who will lead us into this next season at FAC.
