The consumer-facing processes coupled with bank-level verification of secure
accounts close the identification loop, making identity theft a very tricky process for
would-be scammers.
ThisIsMe allows partners and merchants the ability to request access to this identity
status, effectively providing verified identity as a service. Further supporting
documentation is also supplied for compliance.
While partners might require positive identification for a number of reasons, ranging
from basic authentication to system enrollment, ThisIsMe provides the tools to
integrate the IDaaS platform in a variety of ways.

We offer an intelligent and easy-to-integrate API (Application Programming Interface)
to allow web developers and programmers to directly integrate their systems with
ours.
For seamless authentication and authorisation, partners can also integrate using
OAuth.
Where merchants have restricted access to development resources, ThisIsMe also
provides a hosted platform, where all functions of the API can be accessed without
any required development on the partner website or app.
System availability is governed by a strict SLA (Service Level Agreement) with all
partners and every effort is made to ensure 24 hour, permanent availability.
This is done through use of modern, distributed cloud based solutions.

We commenced operations as a third-party KYC Verification
provider, offering services to existing partner businesses.
This took the form of FICA related document submission and
verification on an ad-hoc basis.
We purchased new office space in Cape Town,
South Africa.

The improvement of our integrated services, including sophisticated OAuth & API
upgrades has become a consistent evolution of ThisIsMe. We also have patents and
trademarks registered in our operating markets as well as applications for our key growth
markets.
We continue to discover and implement more ways to verify more individuals, including
the unbanked and remote. We’re rolling out, iterating and improving our mobile application
offerings, including state-of-the-art biometric innovations.
We’re discussing partnerships with banks and maintain our sincere approach to data
privacy. We will always balance convenience with responsibility.
