INTRODUCTION
INTRO1. General
A. [SF] This B767-300 Fault Isolation Manual Supplement reflects the changes in the Fault Isolation Manual due to the conversion of B767-300 to Special Freighter (SF).
B. This manual was prepared in accordance with the Air Transport Association (ATA) Specification No. 100. It provides sufficient information to enable a mechanic or inspector to service, troubleshoot, repair and inspect systems, and removal and installation of any unit normally requiring such action.
C. Information beyond the scope of this manual may be found in the Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) and the Wiring Diagram Manual (WDM).
D. [SF] The chapters in the B767-300 Fault Isolation Manual Supplement generally have the same number as the corresponding chapters in the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC). This standardization of chapter numbers is done to facilitate cross-referencing in accordance with the ATA Specification No. 100.
2. [SF] Using the Fault Isolation Manual Supplement
NOTE: This supplement is prepared specifically to cover the airplanes listed in the LIST OF EFFECTIVE AIRPLANES section.
A. [SF] This Supplement contains the changes to B767-300 maintenance tasks applied to airplane converted to Special Freighter (SF) configuration. The information in this Supplement supersedes the information in the basic Fault Isolation Manual.
B. [SF] For all maintenance tasks, refer to this Supplement first.
C. [SF] For all chapters and information not included in this conversion, refer to Original Boeing Manual.
