Vertical Monthly

Communion Service

Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00 P.M.

What you can expect:

♦A reflective time of worship in song

♦Current Series: An exploration of the

Psalms, focused on transformational

worship and knowing our mighty Lord that

saves

♦Childcare is provided birth through

Kindergarten

Night of Worship Date: Saturday, July 26, 2014

Time: 7:00 P.M.

Place: Grace Church

C ome join us for a night of worship, revival and the presence of God.

Stephanie Carpio and Barry McGuire, worship leaders at Grace Church in Netcong, along with a full band, will be leading praises to the Lord.

This event is FREE and all are welcome! We hope to see you there!

George Gallup, Jr., reported seven needs of the average American:

1. The need for shelter and food, 2. The need to believe life is meaningful and has a purpose, 3. The need for a sense of community and deeper relationships, 4. The need to be appreciated and respected, 5. The need to be listened to and be heard, 6. The need to feel one is growing in faith, 7. The need for practical help in developing a mature faith.

As you ponder these seven needs, allow the proposition to enter your mind that the best place for the majority of these to be met is right here at Grace! What better place for these needs to be met than within a person’s church family. But what if someone does not have a home church?

Our new series has a very outward focus. We want you to be equipped to INVEST in the eternal destination of the people God places in your path; and be ready to INVITE them to your church! We call it Invest and Invite. You are encouraged to begin thinking about five people who you will intentionally pray for their salvation and the opportunity to invite them to Grace. Come be challenged and equipped beginning July 6. Be faithful to five: Invest and Invite.

Welcome to Grace!

W e are very glad that you have made Grace Church part of your busy week.

It is our prayer that you were given a warm welcome and were challenged by a message true to the word of God. Why not stop by the Grace Café (Room 204) off the lobby and get to know some new friends. Also, if this is your first Sunday, be sure to complete a visitor information card, return it to Guest Services in the lobby, and get your free gift. We want you to know you are an honored guest.

paddles and battles.

The Men’s Ministry is sponsoring two

trips this year on the same day.

On July 19, for those people who like

the adventure of playing war, we will

be taking a group up to Skirmish in the

Poconos to play paintball. For those of

us who are older and don’t want to

come home with welts from getting hit

with a paintball traveling at 200 mph,

we will have a second trip on July 19 to

whitewater down the Lehigh River.

Relax. The whitewaters are family

rapids and are very comfortable. So

bring a lunch; we will be eating lunch

at both places.

GET INVOLVED

Cost: Paddles: $55

Battles: $30

Sign up in the lobby. For more infor-

mation, contact Joe Scarmack at 973-

W hat is Grace Swap?

♦ It is a place for people to connect the

things they have (you know, the stuff

you no longer use, the stuff in your

attic, or drawer, or garage) with people

who need them.

♦ At the Grace Café (Room 204), you will

find cards to fill out describing the item

that you would like to GIVE away (All

items must be free).

♦ It will be posted on the bulletin board

for others to see and write down your

information.

♦ NO items will actually be accepted

here at Grace.

♦ Once the item is gone, you simply re-

move the card and praise God for the

chance to serve someone else’s need.

I f you like to work behind the

scenes and help another person

in need, join the CareNet email

team!

♦ What We Do: We help others

with the practical things of life:

moving, packing, cleaning,

making a meal, etc…

♦ How We Do It: Periodically,

requests for assistance are sent

out to members of the team via

email. You read the email, see if

you have the talent and can

make the time, and we get you

connected! It can be that easy.

♦ Who We Help: The requests are

shared from the people who are

regular attendees at Grace

Church (your brothers and sisters

from your church body)

♦ How to Get Involved: If you are

interested in serving with this

group, please contact Pastor

Cameron Baker at

[email protected].

He will be glad to add you to our

growing list of helpers.

ALSO: If you find yourself needing

a little assistance, drop an email to

Pastor Cameron at

[email protected], and

he will be happy to share your

opportunity with others who may be

able to assist.

Such a great weekend! Grace Church came out in force to impact our community in a positive way. We were able to beautify 8 public parks, help 20+ senior citizens clean their yards, visit local nursing homes and group homes, sing praises on the streets of NYC while helping on the Relief Bus, work at First Choice Women's Center, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and World Impact. All the while, we built great relationships in our church. We look forward to new and better ways we can help our community and Love our Neighbors, in the future. How can YOU make an impact on your community?
