Krispy Kreme

We’ve worked with the premium doughnut retailer since 2007 to strengthen its national profile and support its ambitious growth plan which has seen us open more than 100 stores to date.

Our activity has seen the M8 come to a standstill and 300 fans waiting in the snow for the brand to open its doors in Edinburgh, while in Braehead (Glasgow), our integrated six-month campaign smashed its target of building brand awareness and was integral in achieving Krispy Kreme’s most successful global opening.

We have worked with Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods) for more than a decade.

We are responsible for all trade communication activity for its entire portfolio including Cadbury, Philadelphia, Ritz, and Oreo.

Over the years, our activity has included unveiling solid gold chocolate bars at The Ritz for the hugely successful Unwrap Gold, to positioning of the business as a world’s largest snacking business, to launching Cadbury Dairy Milk’s biggest launch to date — Marvellous Creations.

Typhoo

Typhoo tasked us to develop a microsite and social media campaign in just four weeks to coincide with a new TV campaign which revealed Nigella Lawson as its new brand ambassador.

To differentiate from competitors and challenge perceptions of taste and quality, we delivered an engaging and dynamic online experience for the brand.

new site, utilising video while focusing on its history and tea credentials. We developed a fresh new personality and approach on social media which focused on driving messages of heritage and quality through activity relevant to the audience and true to the brand.

Over the three-month campaign period the brand’s social media reach increased by 800% and the new website achieved an average of 3,000 unique monthly visitors and 7,000 monthly page views with a return rate of 17%.

We gave a complex brief with tight time constraints but the team threw themselves into the activity with a refreshingly ‘can–do’ attitude.

They were able to produce high quality work very quickly, with a complete website redesign and social media strategy created from scratch in just a few weeks.

In 2013, Mondelez International challenged us to take trade communications activity to another level by creating its very own platform.

Its purpose was to deliver category leading advice, news and offers 24/7 to its retailers, which in turn would help drive distribution further.

This site supplemented trade media activity and sales team work, all at which have personality at its heart. Instead of having a corporate feel, the site would play the role of a virtual rep. We also extended the site to all of the categories that Mondelez International operates in, curated a rich content hub which was relevant to the independent retailer, including competitions, point of sale downloads, profit calculator and seasonal planner, and built additional communication channels for the business.

This has drawn more than 35,000 retailers to register on the site. What’s more, it has been recognised as best in class in snacking in the UK.

MC2 was appointed by Red Bull back in 2011 to handle a two year global online marketing campaign.

The campaign saw us promoting its unique online platform for fans of extreme and niche sports, and unique music events at redbull.com. The team adopted an integrated marketing strategy, including blogger engagement, social media, on and offline PR, sentiment tracking and evaluation, to make it a destination site for high-energy communities from around the world to share knowledge and content.

MC2 has relished supporting Gourmet Burger Kitchen on a number of projects. In 2014, MC2 launched its delicious Quick Lunch Menu nationally.

We challenged journos to beat the clock with a 15 minute lunch and helped consumers get a tasty lunch fast, with rickshaws across London transporting them to GBK restaurants across the city. This was supported by video content, journalist meetings and consumer recipes.

The result was national and key blogger coverage, and social media conversations, reaching more than a million consumers in just one month.

Back in 2010, STORE asked is maximise the sales potential of a short-term UK exclusive product — LEGO storage boxes.

We combined an offline PR campaign, including journalist meetings and sample mailers, with a targeted blogger campaign for LEGO and storage enthusiasts to increase awareness of the product. As a result, the product sold out prior to release and drove record traffic to the website. It was so successful that LEGO makers handed STORE’s owners ongoing distribution rights for the UK and is still sold today on the site and through some of the UK’s biggest names on the high street.
