Health Promotion Practitioners

• Purpose

– To assess current understanding of evidence and knowledge exchange from health promotion practitioners’ perspective

– To assess what types of knowledge exchange activities occur in regions

– To assess knowledge exchange needs in regions

– To assess change in health promotion practitioners’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours during the time frame of the project

Survey Findings

• Using evidence is essential in their work to guide decision making, policy development & strategic planning

• Support is needed with the work day to develop this skill
