FROM THE PASTOR Surrexit Dominus! The Lord is Risen! Our prayerful best wishes go to the fifteen children who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday morning. We pray that the Lord will bless them with His Presence now and always.

We begin the month of Mary as is our custom by crowning the image of Our Lady which will remain in the sanctuary for the rest of the month. In addition TONIGHT at 6:30PM we will gather here in church for our Parish Evening of Awakening in preparation for the Diocesan Consecration to Our Lady of Guadalupe in December. I pray that these months ahead will be a time of reflection on the important role Mary plays in the lives of all Catholic Christians. Beginning next week we will incorporate the prayer of preparation composed by the Bishop into each Mass on Sunday. A reminder that Fr. Guy’s Q&A takes place Monday evening, May 6 at 7:00PM in the Community Room. Have a Blessed Week filled with the joy of the Risen Lord!
