Part-time Position Available We are looking for an Administrative As-sistant for Christian Formation to perform secretarial, clerical and record keeping duties for children and youth, especially first sacraments. This short-term (possibly long-term), part-time (5-10 hours per week) position requires excellent organizational skills and computer abilities. Salary according to Diocesan guidelines. Deadline for submit-ting application and resume to Fr. Kevin J. O’Brien is September 16.

ATTENTION NIFTY-OVER-FIFTIES! We are ready to start off our new season with a Bar-B-Q at Anita’s house on Wednesday, September 21st. Meet at the church at 11:30 a.m. to carpool and someone will be here to give you directions. Just bring a

dish to share, everything else will be provided. Invite other nifty-fifties to join us. The Bar-B-Q is a great way to make new friends and to get newcomers involved with our nifty group. Hope to see you there! For more information, give Anita Nobles a call at 255-0046.

Following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops issued A Pastoral Message: Living With Faith and Hope After September 11. The message remains extremely relevant as we reflect on what happened ten years ago today. Visit

www.usccb.org and search on “9/11” to re-read, reflect on, and pray with the bishops’ statement, for only with God’s help can we have the strength to forgive and the ability to live in hope instead of fear and hatred.
