From television to potato flakes and beef jerky to weight loss programs, to mention just a few, Eastern Idaho has delivered a higher than average success rate from its home grown entrepreneurs. A current addition to this history is the impressive growth of the ThetaHealing™ Institute of Knowledge in Ammon. The institute has become a focal point for ThetaHealing™ teachers and practitioners from around the world as the center for learning the techniques of ThetaHealing™. A modality discovered and developed by author and teacher, Vianna Stibal, ThetaHealing™ harnesses our own naturally occurring Theta brain waves to enhance spiritual, physical and emotional healing and to facilitate healing in others. June through October of each year, the ThetaHealing™ Institute of Knowledge (THInK), located at 1615 Curlew Dr. in Idaho Falls, is the gathering place for ThetaHealing™ students and practitioners from throughout the U.S. as well as Italy, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, Iceland, India and beyond, learning and working together to teach and practice ThetaHealing™. In classes taught by Vianna around the world and here at THInK, more than 1600 Instructors and 10,000 practitioners have been certified world wide. According to Vianna “The only way to keep something like this growing, is to share it and teach it so that everyone knows… so it’s not a secret.” When not teaching in Idaho Falls or working around the world instructing others in ThetaHealing™, researching and writing has become a way of life for Vianna. With several big selling books under her belt including ThetaHealing™ and the recently released ThetaHealing™ Disease and Disorder, Vianna’s third book, Advanced DNA is scheduled for release in late spring of 2009. Vianna was honored, while recently teaching in Japan, to meet Dr. Kazuhiko Atsumi who was recognized as one of 12 Living Legends of Modern Medicine that have contributed to major scientific and technological advances in the 20th Century through their work, teaching, and leadership. Dr. Atsumi has read Vianna's latest book, ThetaHealing™ Disease and Disorder, and said, “It is full of wisdom.” “He said he was honored to meet me, but of course, it was a greater honor to meet him," Vianna added. Dr. Atsumi (Tokyo University, Japan) led a team that took up the challenge of developing heart assist devices and artificial hearts in Japan, has been involved for many years in laser medicine research and has served as the President of Suzuka University of Medical Science and Technology. He is currently the Chairman of the World Federation of Societies for Laser Medicine and Surgery. According to Vianna, ThetaHealing™ is a universal technique not affiliated with any specific religion, “I’ve had people from many different faiths in the same class.
