Nince 1 HGJ, when my nccount of the European species of the genus Thesium (HEXDRYCH 196.J.n: 70- 1~) \ntS publi~hecl in the first volume of Flora "Europaea, the knowledge of the genus has changed considerably-. A conti­nuous stucly 1 ) also led to the description of fiTe ne"· species. In many cases, the knowledge of the distribution of some species has a lso changed or has been defined with more precision. For the aboYe reasons I decided to publish a brief supplement and co1n'ctions con:-;idering the gen us as against Flora Europaea.
