We have been on an amazing journey at Choctaw Road!

What began as a prayer under a tree has become an incredible work of God in Eastern Oklahoma County. I remember when I first walked through the doors of CRBC in 2000. A group of excited people told me how they had invested of their lives, time and money to build the structure on the cor-ner of Choctaw and Reno. They told me stories of times when money was tight and the work was long. They were so proud of what God had done.

Now, 13 years later, we are astonished once again at what God has accomplished. Three worship services, a children’s ministry that is bursting at the seams and hundreds of changed lives. Together we are about to begin theroad construction.

theroad construction is a plan to meet our current ministry needs. It involves 16,000 square feet of new construction dedicated to children and pre-school. When we teach our children to become followers of Jesus, we can change tomorrow. theroad construction will also convert approximately 4500 square feet of our existing building into a foyer and welcome center.

We have chosen as a theme verse for this project Ephesians 3:20

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantlybeyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us.

We would not be where we are without God and we cannot go any further without God. We believe God’s plan for CRBC is great. As you read through the following pages, pray and ask God to give you wisdom and insight. Ask Him how you can play a part as we move forward as a church family. We love you and thank God for you. And together we can make a difference in Eastern Oklahoma County like never before!

HistoryChoctaw Road Baptist Church began as a mission of Carter Park Baptist Church, Wilmont Place Baptist Church, and Capital Baptist Association in 1986. In 1988 Choctaw Road Baptist Church was constituted as a church.
