Making the right choice

Insulation is used for three main purposes; as a thermal barrier to prevent heat loss or

gain, as an acoustic barrier to prevent sound transmission and as a barrier against

smoke and fire. IIS is a leader in all three areas.

Specialist contractors and other customers know it is essential to have sound

technical knowledge of these specific applications. This ensures that legal and safety

standards are met in buildings and industry and the products supplied match the

exacting requirements in each case. We provide integrated solutions so that any

Extensive Stocks

Our 22,000 ft2 distribution centre based in Dublin carries a comprehensive range of

products ensuring that we are able to meet customer requirements on time. As well as

an in-depth stock of key products, we have an extensive profile of ancillary products

such as metal beads, fixings & tools.

Our products are sourced from leading European manufacturers of thermal protection

including Rockwool, Moy, Knauf, Kingspan and Unifrax.

> FireAs experts in the distribution of passive fire protection products, we have a comprehensive

range to provide compartmentation. Products include fire duct systems, fire collars & wraps,

ablative fire barriers, intumescent mastic, fire rated mortar, fire barriers, and cavity barriers.

These are all available from leading manufacturers in the field including, Promat, Rockwool,

AIM, Knauf, Fire-Us and Saveguard.

> AcousticSound transmission, absorbtion and reflection are problems which are faced daily in modern

construction. At IIS we offer a range of products both slab, and in roll format together with

high performance laminates which offer high degrees of acoustic performance. Each product

is sourced from manufacturers excelling in producing high performance solutions to solve

acoustic problems including Rockwool, Moy, Regupol and Salex.
