DESCRIPTION
For my composition project entitled ‘SOLACE’ I chose to photograph the area around which I live during nighttime. I wanted to explore the idea of how spaces during the day vary in both feeling and character when night falls. For each photograph i wanted to show the lack of human presence (choosing the theme of ABSENCE), with each shot being as devoid of a physical biological entity as possible. The only presence i wanted was that of the streetlight and surrounding man-made objects, objects which had at some point been in close contact with humans, which now stand alone in the light
