“Speaking the Truth in Love”
Ephesians 4:15
“...but speaking the truth in love, may grow
up in all things into Him who is the head -
Christ…”

From the Pastor...
“Unity”
In John 17:21-23, Jesus prayed that we might be “one.”
Today, the body of Christ seems to be divided and in
many cases people are condemned because of their con-
victions.
Now, the “unity” that Jesus prayed for does not mean that
we are supposed to look alike or even talk alike. It does
not even mean that our worship styles will be alike. The
unity that Jesus prayed for is relative to the Holy Spirit.
Christ prayed that we would be one in Him - one in the
Spirit. This unity will lead to spiritual growth and pur-
pose with regard to salvation. When we are saved we are
to grow in grace and then lead others to the Lord so they
too can be saved.
It is my opinion that if we stop focusing on the things that we don’t agree on, and fo-
cus on the things that we agree on - things would be a lot better for us all.
We all agree that God the Father is Creator and the source of all our blessings. We all
agree that Jesus is Redeemer - He died for all our sins and rose for our salvation. We
all agree that the Holy Spirit is Sustainer, Teacher and Guide. Brothers and Sisters, I
think we all agree that it is God’s will that all would be saved.
These are just a few things that can help us become “one in the spirit.” Notice that the
things we agree on are all related to salvation, which is God’s desire for humankind. It
is my prayer that we would allow the Holy Spirit to make us one.
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe
that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast
loved them, as thou hast loved me.”
~John 17:21-23

BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Technology Management Training Group, Inc.
Technology Management Training Group, Inc. (TMT Group) was founded June 1,
2004 by Dr. Dorothy W. Huston as a minority woman owned, small business. Dr.
Huston’s vision was to establish a small business with a core focus on providing
services in three primary areas: Impacting the Department of Defense (DoD)
through Workforce Development and Educational Programs; Engineering and In-
formation Technology Services; and Training Solutions.
Upon completion of a very successful career with institutions of higher education,
Dr. Huston recognized the need for meeting the growing concern of an aging work-
force in a community heavily involved in Science, Technology, Engineering and
Mathematics (STEM). Her experience and passion led her to providing innovative solutions to creating
opportunities for a more diverse STEM workforce. Since then, the corporate vision has grown with aug-
menting additional capabilities to enhance TMT Group’s abilities to meet diverging needs associated with
executing a wide range of programs.
TMT Group’s motto, “Today Molds Tomorrow,” in essence, means today’s opportunities make for tomor-
row’s successes and TMT Group provides services that are programmatically strong, technically sound,
competitively priced and provide the best value to our customers.
