Brother Knights and Sister Columbiettes,

How does everyone like the weather we are having for October. Soon wewill get back to the weather we are supposed to have. So enjoy it whileyou can.

The Columbiettes held their cake sale rain or rain. I would like to saythat they really stuck it out.The cakes got sold. I would also like to thankFather Don for letting the Columbiettes use the vestibules to sell thecakes. Also thank you to the Knights who helped out.

Also on the same weekend of the cake sale, Dave Byron was signing uppeople for the blood drive. Have you ever tried to write on wet paper.We received 25 pints. Thanks to everyone who helped out.

The spaghetti dinner was held on 10/14. Good food and beverages wereserved. We had a good turn out, and we got more people then we usuallyget after the 5:00 Mass. Thanks to all who helped out, Knights,Columbiettes, Squires, Conformation and Students.

We are getting our new Knights to help at bingo, but we still need moreKnights for lines, cooks and floor walkers. We have also changed game10 the jackpot. When you have the duty, ask about it.

We need to have the C & B books turned in. $12 gets us back $5 for thecouncil. Just say 100 books get turned in. That’s $500 for the council.So please take some books or if you have them return them with $12.

Remember in your prayers the poor, the needy, the starving and distressed. Also victims of abortion, and also the men and women in the service of our country. Also pray for all members and their families. God bless you all and America.
