Maggi Hambling’s ‘Scallop’ on Aldeburgh beachwas recently voted one of the nation’s top 20artworks of all time. For her third exhibition at theCorn Hall, she has selected themes from her recentwork as diverse as self-portraits, herons, hercelebrated North Sea Waves and new ‘Edge’canvases, which consider the fragility of existenceexemplified by melting ice-caps.

Mike Webb will be bringing a selection of hiswatercolours and cartoon style drawings to theCorn Hall in November. Those of you who knowhim from his work in the Diss Express will besurprised by the breadth of this exhibition; fromhumorous cartoon style paintings of familiarbirds and animals to thought provokingwatercolours of redundant sheds and barns. Thepictures range in mood and scale and will be forsale on the opening night.
