Below is a list of programs and times when volunteers are needed: Winter Clothes Closet Mondays 12:30-3:00 pm Page Turners Tuesdays-Thursdays 4:15-5:30 pm Food Pantry Saturdays 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Teen Center Fridays 4:00-8:00 pm DONATIONS NEEDED We are in DIRE need of clothing items for our Winter Clothing Closet, especially large coats, men’s pants, gloves, hats, scarves, and new underwear. We are also collecting for snack bags & toiletry kits. You can drop off any of these items year round: small soaps & shampoo, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, washcloths, as well as snack items such as granola bars, crackers, water bottles, juice boxes, etc. You can also make monetary donations to support RMM programs and services at www.rmmnyc.org/donate. LSEP Mentor Training: February 3 rd Our spring LSEP programs need mentors to offer support and accompaniment along the journey of healing. A group of veterans and a group of survivors of domestic violence will begin their work in truth telling and trauma healing in February. If you would like to participate as a mentor this semester, or if you would just like more information, plan to come to the mentor training with the Beck Institute on Saturday, February 3, at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center South Lounge, 12:30-4:00p.m. RSVP to Lesley-Ann: [email protected]. "SEX & POWER - from Aphrodite to Freud to Weinstein" Written & performed by Joanna Rush Sunday, February 4th Doors open at 5:30pm, presentation begins at 6pm. Light refreshments will be served. This one woman's look at sexual assault through her personal experience, history and current social culture is frank, humorous and hopeful - following the presentation there will be a round table discussion and talk back & hopefully, a beginning to working thru the "me, too" response to a "never again" resolve and reality! Please contact Kathy Conry at [email protected] to make reservation as space is limited. There is NO CHARGE but a "love offering" will be taken 'for the use of the hall".
