Pattern is written in an Average Adult Size. Will fit a foot sized US 8-9 and a Calf circumference of 14“ to 16“.For wider or narrower socks take gauge amounts and

simply add an even # of stitches to CO total.

Explanation of StitchesM1 R - Make one Right

Pick up the bar between the last stitch you knit and the one you’re about to knit, bringing the needle from the back to the front. Knit into the front of this stitch.

M1L - Make one LeftPick up the bar between the stitch you knit and the one you’re about to knit,

bringing the needle from front to back. Knit into the back of the stitch.

6-st LC - 6 stitch Left CableSlip 3 sts to CN and hold to front, k3, k3 from CN.

CO 18, using Judy’s Magic Cast On (see pg. 2).(9 st on each needle for Magic Loop)

Round 1: KnitRound 2: Increase- *K1, M1R, K to one st from end of needle, M1L, K1* twice. (22 st)

Round 3-4: KnitRound 5: Rep. round 2. (26 st)

Round 6-7: KnitRound 8: Rep. round 2. (30 st)

Round 9-10: KnitRound 11: Rep. round 2. (34 st)

Round 12-13: Knit

Body of Sock:Work rounds 1-18 of Cable Pattern (pg. 5) 7 times. (126 rounds)

(Working Left Sock Cable Chart for Left sock and Right Sock Cable Chart for Right sock.)OR repeat cable pattern until you reach the point where you want your Ribbing to begin.

Ribbing:Round 1: *K1, P1*.

Rep. round 1 for desired length. In my sample (in photos), I worked ribbing for 7” OR 37 rnds.

Bind off work using a 1X1 Sewn Bind Off (see pg. 2) with a large Tapestry Needle.

Finishing:Weave in all ends.
