16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. (Mat 28:16-17 NIV)

The authority of Jesus dispels the disciples’ doubt about Jesus’ identity.

The authority of Jesus shapes who we are and what we do as his followers

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Mat 28:19-20a NIV)

Isaiah 49:6 (NIV)"It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."
