This order represents a year's work for 9 people. Pictured below are some of the many employees who have played imporlant roles so far in this project. They are: Bob Klump, Dick Myers, Bob Steit, Gene Bradley, Joe Kring, Chuck Klein, Frank Wille kens, Jim Austin, Dean Hans. U.L. Skipper, Charles Mann. Devon Watkins, John Bergan, Louis Ridenour, Tom Halsaver, Don Ellingson, Don Ansbaugh, John Earl, Jerry Weston, Chet Herman. We are hopeful that everyone's initiative, flexibility, and hard work will payoff in follow-up orders from Resco in the future. CAD/CAM BECOMES OPERATIONAL AT WHEELABRATOR The term CAD/CAM refers to Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing. It's a state of the art engineer- ing system that allows our designers and engineers to develop extremely accurate, consistent, and high quality drawings and designs in a minimal amount of time. Since our system became operational January 15, 1986, twelve of our employees have undergone extensive training in the use of the new equipment. They are: Tom Burmeister, Joe RUdlatt, Bart Bullis, Jim Donnelly, Lynn Wilhelm, Judd Disberry, Don Chlebek, Jerry Sheyka, Carl Overmyer, Mike Herman, Tom Stran1z, and Bruce McConahay. Under the direction of Carl Overmyer, our CAD/CAM Manager, the system is currently being used to generate 2-D drawings for parts and assemblies. In the near future, we will begin utiliz- ing the system for 3-D design work and for computer-aided manufacturing. Our congratulatIons to everyone who is involved In thIS effort. This highly automated system will blast clean approximately 450transmission casings per hour for GM.
